Gleam stuck in admiration because the BEAM model is genuinely excellent and Gleam finally makes it readable. Adoption lags because Elixir already owns the "modern BEAM" slot and hiring pools follow incumbents. You do not rewrite a telecom core in a language with twelve production users.
